This article presents a new method for generating low-frequency electromagnetic waves navigation and communication in challenging environments, such as underwater underground. The key concept is to disturb the magnetic energy stored around permanent magnet time-variant fashion. reluctance of medium modulated alter flux intensity direction (disturb energy) order achieve this goal. nonlinear properties surrounding material are critical phenomenon efficient effective modulation. Since proposed way field not based on second-order system (resonant structure), bandwidth any modulation schema limited overall quality factor. A transmitter prototyped proof concept, generated measured. Compared with rotating magnet, can modulate up 50% magnet’s much lower power consumption.
